Design practices

Products are designed to conserve power, through optimizations such as idle sleep, and for a long usable life, with open hardware that makes repair easier.

QuickVolt applies both. Its power-save profiles let the board sleep while the output is off, firmware updates install over the air, and the hardware design will be released under CERN-OHL-S v2.

Products

QuickVolt is a compact, digitally controlled DC power supply with constant-voltage and constant-current regulation, rated for 0 to 31 V and 0 to 4 A. It is intended to make a programmable DC voltage and current source accessible to more people. QuickVolt details.

In development: QuickLocate, precise indoor location with UWB; Kona, an assistant that runs on local hardware; and OpenWatch, an open smartwatch.
